Meet the Team

Heather Brady
Co-Founder and Area Developer
Berks & Lancaster County, PA
Heather is a community driven "dot connector" who discovered her passion for locally owned businesses during her career at iHeart Media. Obviously shopping, eating, and playing local helps our local economy significantly more than when we make the same purchases at national chains. But the real beauty of locally owned businesses is the passion and stories behind the business owners. Heather absolutely loves connecting the dots between these local business owners and the local charities in Berks & Lancaster Counties in PA. "There's always events bringing these two amazing sectors together, but there's never been a medium dedicated to their mutual success and on-going community impact... until now!" Going mobile is the future, but at the same time no one wants 100 individual local business apps on their phone. Do It Local enables local businesses and local organizations to unify in one easy to use mobile app! Heather loves to connect - send her an email anytime to ask her for local recommendations or to suggest new local businesses and charities that should be apart of her local movement.
Patrick Brady
Co-Founder and President
Pennsylvania
Patrick Brady is a dedicated behind the scenes make the magic happen guy. He supports all Area Developers and maintains the mobile app. Patrick's enhancement list for the app, which he proudly developed with his friends at Weidenhammer, is always accepting new ideas, so please share any features or feedback on the app that you would like to see in future updates. Fun Fact: Patrick's nickname from his wife and co-founder of Do It Local is Mr. Perfect. Patrick loves supporting local businesses, especially micro breweries, farmers markets, and golf courses. Send Patrick your awesome ideas.
Carol Pinkasavage
Director of Operations - Do It Local NC
Durham, North Carolina
Carol moved to Durham in January 2015 after a successful career in Human Resources consulting in Southeastern Pennsylvania. During her time in PA, she also served in leadership roles on non-profit boards and volunteered to work on fundraising projects and committees. This led to her passion for bringing local businesses and non-profits together for mutually successful relationships. That’s why the do It LOCAL concept and app are so exciting and such a good fit for her now that Durham is her new adopted home. Durham has a wealth of locally owned businesses in virtually every consumer-driven industry. Our app provides the local consumer with an easy way to locate and support local businesses while helping raise money for local nonprofits. Everyone local WINS!
